Wristband
ADE uses two types of wristbands: day passes and 4-day passes. Day pass holders only have access to the ADE conference program on a particular day. 4-day pass holders have access to both the conference and festival program within the duration of ADE. Please note that in case you have lost your wristband, you will need to pay the full amount to obtain a new registration.
Conference bag
ADE participants will receive their special conference bag at the registration desk.
Tram
Trams are an easy way to get around in Amsterdam, with routes heading out from the centre in all directions. Tram journeys are paid for using ‘strippenkaarten’, which can be bought at stations and newspaper kiosks. During each journey, your ticket is stamped until there are no more valid strips left. It is also possible to buy a single journey ticket on a tram, though this will cost more than using a ‘strippenkaart’. Up-to-date time schedules can be requested at the registration desk.
From Amsterdam Central Station you can take Tram lines 1 to Osdorp de Aker or 2 to Nieuw Sloten and exit at Keizersgracht or you can take lines 13 to Geuzenveld or 17 to Osdorp-Dijkgraafplein and exit at Westermarkt. From both stops it is only a short walk to both conference locations.
Taxi
In case you would like to order a taxi, the major Amsterdam based companies are:
TCA: +31 (0)20 777 77 77
TCM: +31 (0)20 631 27 27
Taxi Schiphol Service: +31 (0)20 771 19 09
Bike
The easiest way to travel in Amsterdam is by bike. Amsterdam has a lot of rental shops, of which MacBike is commonly used. Their shops are located at Leidseplein and Amsterdam Central Station. For more information, click here.

Door policy clubs/venues
Most clubs and venues have specific rules that visitors have to abide to. We wouldn’t call them strict but in order to keep clubbing fun and safe, no drugs or weapons are allowed.
A full registration entitles you:
- access to the entire day program (seminars, workshops, master
classes and more)
- access to the entire night program (over 40 participating clubs)
- inclusion of your company and personal details in the
ade online delegates database and professionals guide
- access to the ade online delegates database
